 4.  Conclusions

 

4.1.  In the calendar are applied the new base and the intermediate compensating cycles made from the Meton  cycles with improved structure of lunar years, months and weeks:

   

            - base cycle 1 = 57 lunar years = Meton simple + Meton leap + Meton simple = 20 819 days, 

            - intermediate (Hipparh2) cycle = 304 lunar years =

                                                    =  Meton simple + 5 x (base cycle 1) = 111 035 days,

            - intermediate (Petin3) cycle = 23 408 lunar years =

                                                    =  77 x [Meton simple + 5 x (base cycle 1)] = 8 549 695 days,

            -intermediate (Petin5) cycle = 855 lunar years =

              = 2 [Meton simple + 5 x (base cycle 1)] + [Meton simple + 4 x (base cycle 1)] = 312 286 days.

 

 

4.2. The chosen sequence and alternation of Meton of cycles provide the following accuracy of the PETIN-METON calendar for intervals of time:

                                            

             0 - 1 216  years                        -0,9481 - +1,0662 day,

             0 - 11 856 years                       -0,9481 - +1,4926 day,

             0 - 23 264 years                       -1,3798 - +1,4926 day.

 

The calendar cycles after 23 408 years are repeated.   

The following calendar compensation (decreasing 1 day) should be carried out in the cycle P4

 

                           P4 = 23 408 162 = 3 792 096 years.
